Quite a surprising book. It took me a while to get into it or so I thought. I just kept reading and then found myself wondering how on earth I had gotten “here”.

A transforming book. There are images, relationships and juxtapositions that have been forever made because of the words, the story of these pages.

A work of fiction. A masterful telling of a story of water, of tigers, of survival, of our need to be human even when we can’t be. But… you don’t really get the truth of that until after you close the covers.
