For the record, I am not a pedant nor a grammar snob. In fact, I don’t really understand the grammar of English (or French) one whit. But I do love language as tool and as art, so I look forward to this read which I learned of from one of the last interviews by Bob Edwards on NPR’s Morning Edition some weeks ago.
