This series of images comes from a recognition of sorts. The base photographs were taken over the holidays during an early morning snowfall. I still can’t quite articulate the recognition part but it was rather profound. And reassuring. And bittersweet. And oh so quiet. The kind of quiet that is full of closeness and truths and rawness and is shared.

This series was inspired from photographs of shadows (which always feel like dancing light to me :o)

“Stirrings” comes from tugs and pulls and, what feels like, taps on my shoulder. These then lead to Listenings.

This series, as Ice, came out of an incredibly cold winter. The base photographs are of ice patterns that had formed on the inside of our windows :o)
